Today is me and Victor’s one year anniversary.
So much has changed in a year. I’ve changed. Or rather, I’m becoming me again. I’m living in Texas now and I’m happier than I’ve ever been. I feel so lucky to have Victor.
Things aren’t perfect here, but my life with him is so much better.
And I love him so very much. He’s my everything. I’d do anything for him. I’m looking forward to spending the rest of my life with him. He’s amazing. I couldn’t ask for a better man.
Today Marc and I celebrate ten years today.
I can’t believe it has been ten years. Honestly, it doesn’t seem like it has been that long.
I met Marc through a chatroom on AOL. We started chatting through an instant message and hit it off. We talked every day and eventually agreed to date. For almost two years we were in a long distance relationship. Then on my 18th birthday he came to Pennsylvania. After that, he visited me every two weeks – he lived in New Jersey – and eventually he moved here to be with me.
I am happy with Marc and I can’t imagine being with anyone else. Since the day we met, he has been there for me and helped me through so much. He loves me and is supportive of me. He’s a great guy and I look forward to many more years with him.
My boyfriend and I found each other through an online chat room. We had an instant connection and began to chat online every day. Eventually, our chatting moved to talking on the phone.
I looked forward to talking to him every day and he looked forward to talking to me. Our relationship isn’t perfect, but what relationship is? We’re happy together. I love him and he’s the only person I ever want to be with. I can completely be myself around him and he accepts me. He loves me, he cares about me. What more could I ask for?
Today is our anniversary and we’ve been together for nine years. We’re spending the day together and got each other gifts. My gift was Joseph Delaney’s newest book, A New Darkness, which I really wanted. I’ll be reading it soon 🙂
I’m looking forward to the rest of the day with him. We’re going to watch movies and play video games together today.
On Saturday, September 21st, Marc and I celebrated our 8th anniversary.
I can’t believe it’s been 8 years. I know some of you know how Marc and I met from following my blog on Xanga, but I’ll tell it again for those who are new readers.
I was 16 at the time and he was 19. We met in a chat room on AOL. It was the New Jersey chat room. I was just going into the different states chat rooms looking for people to talk to and one night I ended up in that chat room and found Marc. After that, we began to chat every night. Eventually we talked on the phone and that turned into an every day thing as well.
We had an instant connection and a lot in common. Our relationship was long distance for a while and actually didn’t meet in person until I was 18. He came to visit for the first time on my 18th birthday. After about a year and a half of coming to visit me, he decided to move to Pennsylvania to live with me.
I know that there are still people who think online relationships can’t work, or that you can’t fall in love with someone without meeting them first. Well, my relationship worked and I fell in love with Marc before we met in person on my 18th birthday. He is a great guy, he is caring, loving and the person I want to spend my life with. I’m very lucky to have found him.
Marc worked on Saturday, but we still got to spend some time together. I got him a few gifts I knew he would like and he got me The Last Apprentice: I Am Alice by Joseph Delaney. It’s book number 12 in the series and he knew how much I wanted it. So we had a good day together and I’m looking forward to celebrating 9 years with him next year.
