As my regular readers know, Tsalagi Dreams is my online store. But it has been a while since I posted anything about it and thought I would do a post and try to get it some more exposure.
I originally started selling some Dreamcatchers and used items that I didn’t want anymore on Xanga a few years ago. It was just to make a little extra money. However, I found that I really enjoying making Dreamcatchers and other Native crafts. Last year I decided to make an online store and start a business selling these crafts. I sell on webstore, which is an auction website like Ebay. All my items on there are listed as “Buy It Now”.
I am Cherokee (Welsh and German as well), though I am not registered with my tribe and so my items are not sold as Native American made. I make them all myself so I sell them as handmade.
I very much enjoy making these crafts and take my time on them so they are well made. I shop around and try to buy the best materials for the items I make. I also try to make my items unique and I want to continue on adding new items to my shop. I also try to price my items reasonably.
